The North Jubilee Neighbourhood Association invites you to a Community Association Land Use Committee (CALUC) meeting to review and discuss a proposed development by Aryze Developments.

Proposal Summary:
Aryze proposes to demolish three existing dwellings and the current Sleep Centre located at the corner of Richmond Road and Carrick Street, 2612-2628 Richmond. In their place, a new 6-storey, 20.5 metre (67.25 ft) tall 101-unit rental building is planned.

This meeting is your opportunity to learn more about the proposal, ask questions, and share your input with the developer and the community.

Gardens in Glory: North Jubilee Neighbourhood Jane’s Walk

Meet at Begbie Green (Corner of Pembroke and Shelbourne)

Date: Saturday, June 1st, 2024

Time: 10:30 a.m. - 12:00

Join us for a delightful loop walk around the charming North Jubilee neighbourhood. Led by Soren Henrich, a resident of North Jubilee, this walk will take us from Begbie Green to Fern St. Park, where we'll encounter native meadow plants, majestic Chestnut trees, and admire the historic Fort St heritage buildings. We'll also explore Jubilee Village at Richmond before making our way back along Birch and Pembroke streets.

This walk is one of two organized by the North Jubilee Neighbourhood Association. Thanks to the support of a My Great Neighbourhood Grant from the City of Victoria, we are collaborating with Masami Teramachi to create a hand-drawn map of our community. We want you to know that your participation is essential as we aim to capture what matters most to you in our beloved neighbourhood.
