Join us for an evening of practical information and conversation about emergency preparedness in our community.

Doug Clarke from the Victoria Fire Department Emergency Management team will share information and guidance to help residents better prepare for emergencies and understand how we can support one another as a neighbourhood.

Come learn, ask questions, and take a few simple steps toward being better prepared.

🌿 Spirit Garden Work Party

Come help us care for our neighbourhood garden!

Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 10 AM to 2 PM

We’ll also be serving hot apple cider! Come by for twenty minutes or stay for the whole day, lend a hand, warm up, and connect with your neighbours.

Join your neighbours for a morning of gardening, tidying, planting and caring for the Spirit Garden.

No gardening experience necessary — just bring yourself, and a willingness to get your hands a little dirty!

John Adams of Discover the Past Walking Tours and the Hallmark Heritage Society will take us on a journey through local history, sharing fascinating stories and insights into the heritage of Victoria and our neighbourhood.

Follow The Water

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2026 / Fern Street Park: 1:30 p.m.

Join NJNA and the Friends of Bowker Creek Society for a 90 minute neighbourhood walk following the path of water through North Jubilee. Discover the creek, learn about the natural systems that shape our neighbourhood, and explore how water connects our streets, parks and community.
