Ten million years per minute: The story of plant life on Earth
Land plants evolved roughly 500 million years ago. Since their humble beginnings, land plants have evolved roots, leaves, seeds, and diverse physiologies. Barbara Hawkins will discuss the morphological and anatomical developments in plants that have allowed them to diversify and cover most of the Earth’s land surface.

Everyone welcome.
